Science

Our Science Department is implementing the California Integrated Science Model of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).  Our science teachers implement the three-dimensional learning of NGSS by incorporating crosscutting concepts, science and engineering practices, and disciplinary core ideas into our curriculum.  NGSS standards aim to give students classroom learning experiences that stimulate their interest in science and prepare them for college, careers, and citizenship in our ever-changing world.

 

In addition to the science curriculum, the science team will support Santa Fe's Computer Science curriculum immersion by working closely with Coding instructors to provide opportunities for all science students to develop the foundations of computer science education.
